![]() ![]() I'm not sure about your specific issue, but if you look carefully when you tried to install homebrew, you (at least I did) got a command line prompt about agreeing to the license: There a literally 1000s of useful little tidbits you can install. Homebrew is package manager - it lets you install unix apps that are not compiled for OS X, that is, apps that don't have pretty install icons for us to click. Without it, as you have discovered, handbrake won't work. Libdvdcss is some code that lets handbrake (and other apps?) read dvds. lib has always, on unix systems, been considered the domain of the OS, and anything you do there can rightfully be killed off with OS updates. Since no one's answered you, I'll give it a shot (although I may be wrong on some points, hopefully someone will be kind enough to correct my mistakes).Įl Cap locked down the security even more than before, and has basically made /lib off limits. ![]()
